These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MediMood application ("the App") developed by kpix ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using MediMood, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

MediMood is a personal health journal that allows you to log medications, mood, side effects, and blood level results. The App provides insights based on your self-reported data and can generate summary reports for your personal use.

3. Medical Disclaimer

MediMood is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations.

• The App is a personal logging and journaling tool only.
• Insights, correlations, and trends shown in the App are based entirely on self-reported data and are for informational purposes only. They do not indicate causation.
• Reports generated by the App contain self-reported data and are not clinical documents.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any decisions about your medication or treatment.
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information presented in the App.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of the data you enter into the App
• Keeping your device secured to protect your health data
• Backing up any data you wish to preserve (e.g., via the export feature), as uninstalling the App permanently deletes all data
• Using the App in compliance with applicable laws

5. Subscriptions

MediMood offers an optional premium subscription ("MediMood Pro") that unlocks additional features including advanced insights, report generation, and data export.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's store account settings.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period.

6. Data and Privacy

All data you enter into MediMood is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, access, or transmit your data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by kpix and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to health decisions made based on data or insights from the App.
• We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, App removal, or any other cause.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
