Privacy Policy

MediMood ("the App") is developed by kpix ("we", "us", or "our"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.

1. Data Collection

MediMood does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on external servers. All data you enter into the App — including medications, doses, mood entries, side effects, blood level results, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device.

We do not have access to your data. We cannot view, retrieve, or recover it.

2. What Data the App Stores Locally

The App stores the following information on your device only:

• Medication names, dosages, units, and schedules
• Mood entries (mood score, date, optional notes)
• Side effect entries (type, severity)
• Blood level results (value, date)
• Dose change history
• Medication pause periods
• Missed dose records
• App preferences (reminder settings, theme, onboarding status)

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it (e.g., exporting a CSV file or sharing a PDF report).

3. No Accounts or Cloud Sync

MediMood does not require you to create an account. There is no cloud synchronization, no login, and no user registration. Your data stays on your device.

4. Third-Party Services

MediMood uses the following third-party service:

• RevenueCat — for managing in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes your purchase through Apple's App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat may receive an anonymous app user ID and subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive any of your health data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

MediMood does not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

5. No Analytics or Tracking

We do not collect usage analytics, crash reports, device identifiers, IP addresses, or any other form of tracking data. There are no cookies, pixels, or fingerprinting techniques used by the App.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to any third party. The only way your data leaves your device is if you explicitly use the App's export or share features (CSV export, PDF report sharing, or text sharing).

7. Data Security

Your data is stored in the App's private storage area on your device, protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, biometric lock). We recommend keeping your device secured with a passcode or biometric authentication.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Your data persists on your device until you:

• Delete the App (which removes all App data)
• Clear the App's data through your device settings

Since we do not store your data on any server, there is nothing for us to delete on our end.

9. Children's Privacy

MediMood is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Since all data is stored locally and we have no access to it, no personal data of any user — including children — is transmitted to us.

10. Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device and we have no access to it:

• You have full control over your data at all times
• You can export your data at any time using the App's export feature
• You can delete all data by removing the App from your device

MediMood is a personal health journal. It does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment recommendations. The insights and correlations shown in the App are based on self-reported data and are for personal reference only. Always consult your healthcare provider before making any decisions about your treatment.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
