Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-05-04

This Privacy Policy describes how Karla Matosic (KPIX) ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use Overtime (the "App") on iOS.

Overtime is built around a simple principle: your progress photos and project data stay on your device. We do not run servers that store your content, we do not require user accounts, and we do not collect analytics about how you use the App.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Overtime does not collect, transmit, or store on our servers any of the following:

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The following information is created and stored exclusively on your device:

None of this information leaves your device unless you explicitly enable optional iCloud backup (see Section 3).

3. Optional iCloud Backup

If you enable iCloud backup in the App's Settings, your projects and photos are stored in your personal iCloud container under your Apple ID. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple, and is managed entirely by Apple. We do not have access to it. You can disable backup at any time in the App's Settings or remove the App's iCloud data via your iOS Settings under your Apple ID.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Apple via the App Store and StoreKit. We never see your payment information. To determine whether you have an active subscription, the App uses RevenueCat, a subscription-management SDK. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and your App Store subscription receipt from Apple. It does not receive your name, email, or other personally identifying information. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy/.

5. Camera Access

The App requests permission to access your camera so that you can capture progress photos. The camera is only used while you are actively in the capture screen. We do not record video, capture audio, or access the camera in the background. Captured images are saved directly to your device's local sandbox.

6. Photo Library

If you choose to export a comparison or time-lapse video to your Photos library, you may be prompted by iOS to grant the App permission to write to the library. We only write to the library at your explicit request and never read from it.

7. Third Parties

We rely on the following third parties to operate the App:

We do not embed third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs.

8. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following legal bases apply under Art. 6 GDPR:

9. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EU/EEA/UK, you have the right to:

Because Overtime stores no personal data on our servers, most access, deletion, and portability requests will be confirmed with a "no data on file" response. To delete the data on your device, delete the App. To delete iCloud-backed data, turn off iCloud backup in the App's Settings or remove the App's data via your iOS Settings under your Apple ID. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13.

10. Children

Overtime is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the email below.

11. Data Retention

Locally stored data persists on your device until you delete photos, projects, or the App itself. iCloud-backed data persists in your iCloud account until you delete it. We do not retain server-side records, so we have no separate retention obligation.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
