Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Golf Handicap Tracker & Planner application ("the App") developed by kpix ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Golf Handicap Tracker & Planner, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Golf Handicap Tracker & Planner is a personal golf journal that allows you to log courses, tees, and rounds, and automatically calculates your handicap index under the World Handicap System (WHS). The App provides insights, trends, and projections based on your logged rounds for your personal use.

3. Disclaimer

Golf Handicap Tracker & Planner is not an official handicap authority and does not issue official handicap indices.

• The App is a personal tracking and planning tool only.
• Handicap calculations follow publicly documented World Handicap System formulas, but results are unofficial and intended for personal reference.
• For an official handicap index, you must register with a golf club or handicap-issuing body in your jurisdiction.
• Insights, projections, and What-If scenarios are based entirely on the rounds you enter and are for informational purposes only.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of the data you enter into the App (courses, tees, scores, dates)
• Keeping your device secured to protect your data
• Backing up any data you wish to preserve (e.g., via the CSV export feature), as uninstalling the App permanently deletes all data
• Using the App in compliance with applicable laws

5. Subscriptions and Purchases

Golf Handicap Tracker & Planner offers an optional premium upgrade ("Pro") that unlocks additional features including the Next Round Preview, Handicap Projector, Stats & Insights, Goal Milestones, and What-If scenarios. Pro is available as an auto-renewing annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• Annual subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's store account settings.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.
• The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-recurring payment that unlocks Pro features permanently on your store account.
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Any price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period.

6. Data and Privacy

All data you enter into Golf Handicap Tracker & Planner is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, access, or transmit your data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and content, is owned by kpix and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to decisions made based on handicap calculations, projections, or insights from the App.
• We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, App removal, or any other cause.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time without notice.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
